Inspired by vintage ribbons and trims, Appliqué combines the decorative dimension of ornamental needlework with endurance and easy care. Multiple weave structures come together to create a lively, tactile surface of ribbon-like stripes in two contemporary color palettes. Finished with self-bound edges for a refined look.

Also available as placemats and table runners.

MATERIALS

Phthalate-free TerraStrand yarns and synthetic latex; rug contains a minimum of 18% recycled content and a minimum of 8% rapidly renewable content.
Runner widths vary by length: the 6' runner is 2'2" wide, and the 9' runner is 2'6" wide.
Production tolerance allows for +/- 2'' overall.

CUSTOM

All custom floor mats feature a latex backing and self-bound edges.
Custom mats are made with a size tolerance of +/- 1/2" in either direction, 1''.
Lead time for custom woven floor mats is approximately 3 weeks.
As with all woven textiles, slight variations in texture and pattern alignment may occur. For seamed items, patterns may not align perfectly.
Special shapes require a template or CAD file for production.
All custom orders are final sale.

Care

Occasionally lift and air out your rug, which allows it, and the surface on which it sits, to ventilate and stay dry.
When moving or storing, roll up your rug with the woven surface facing outwards and tie loosely. In case of creasing, steam using a handheld garment steamer on the lowest heat setting.

Cleaning

Cleaning is easy. To remove loose dirt and debris, sweep, vacuum, or shake out.
In case of spills, blot quickly with a damp, lint-free cloth. Persistent stains may be treated with spot cleaner and wiped with a cloth. If needed, follow with a residential carpet cleaner or mop the surface.
After cleaning, lift your rug and clean the floor. Allow both the rug and floor to dry completely before replacing.
For deep cleaning, we recommend hot water extraction with mechanical brushing using equipment such as the Rug Doctor Deep Carpet Cleaner, Rug Doctor Mighty Pro X3, or Bissell Big Green Deep Cleaning Machine.
Do not clean with acetone, Pine-Sol, or citrus-based cleaning agents, as they can cause degradation and/or discoloration.
Do not machine wash or iron.
